With 2020 finally behind us (thank goodness), we, like many of you, feel a dire need to plan for 2021 and beyond. After all, who among us can say they’ve not missed taking a vacation?

A new year brings new hope to explorers everywhere. Now is the time to start making up for lost time by traveling to those destinations you’ve been dreaming about for so long.

Since traveling today is more complex, our knowledgeable travel advisers are standing by to help you travel confidently, responsibly and safely.

As travel professionals, we get insider information from colleagues and travel partners daily. We know which countries are welcoming visitors, which resorts provide you with exceptional experiences while properly addressing health and safety concerns, Covid protocols and how to take advantage of flexible deposits and cancellation policies.

That’s our job — to be your go-to, trusted resource about everything travel. Whether you are ready to go next week, next month or next year, we can guide you through the new state of travel today.

We know it seems like things are changing on a daily, but it’s just another reason to have a travel agent “have your back!”

We’ve been in the travel industry for over 35 years. Travel agents have seen so many changes, starting with the old paper tickets to where over the last year, we’ve all had to learn how to meet with clients over Zoom.

Over the last year, we’ve helped many clients get home and reschedule their vacations plans, but we are stronger than ever and ready to start helping people travel again.

FYI: In late 2020 a lot of people did decide to travel. Some took trips closer to home, but as soon as the Caribbean opened up, there have been a lot of people that have traveled to Mexico and the Caribbean.

The airlines have made it easier with their cancelation policies and now with having to have documentations showing that you’ve had a COVI-19 test within 72 hours of departure – we have been working with many resorts that are offering clients Covid tests at the resorts and if they should test positive, you can stay in a quarantined room at the resort for 14 days – some at no charge.

Now for some news from our Travel Leaders agents! Over the last few months, we’ve actually had several of our travel agents that have traveled throughout Mexico and the Caribbean, go to Walt Disney World as well as go to the Rocky Mountains. We wanted to be able to show our clients what it was like to be traveling right now and also to see for ourselves to help better understand what clients will experience while traveling!

Here’s what we are seeing for 2021:

Our travel partners are making it easier for you to make last-minute cancellations, changes to itineraries, or request a refund. If there is one thing to be thankful for it is cruise lines flexible booking policies. These policies won’t last forever, which is why now is the best time to book especially when many cruise lines have announced new deployment as far out as 2023.

If you ready to start traveling now, Mexico, the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Chile and Panama are open to American tourists now as well as are the U.S. Virgin Islands, Aruba and Hawaii. You’ve also got so many places that you can vacation in the U.S. and within a day’s drive.

We are seeing travelers starting to book trips to Europe, Ireland, Africa, Thailand, Australia, Italy and New Zealand as well as adventure trips where you are more out in the open air for later this year and well into 2022.
