gas pump

Dear Old Man:

We have in our garage a Sinclair gas pump. Does it have any value? FF

Dear FF:

Your gas pump was made by The Bennett Company 1948-1954. The model number is 766 with original lighted globe, hose and Dover gas nozzle. It is 75 inches tall, 24 inches wide, and 14 inches deep. Good, paint, and mechanicals.

Does it have value? You bet, old filling station signs, pumps, are very collectible. Since the Sinclair gasoline company is no longer here, Sinclair items are collected as vintage collectibles. Insurance replacement $2,750-$3,000. Fair Market is 900- $1,500.
